Selena Gomez became addicted to celebrity gossip sites by hanging out with one friend who was completely obsessed: She revealed to BOP!: 'Someone in my life checked them all the time.'

After seeing the embarrassing pictures and rumors, it started to hurt her self-esteem: 'I was taking everything to heart. It was like, I'm too this, I'm too that! It was so much drama.'

Selena finally turned to Mommy Mandy for help: 'She taught me to not taking everything so personally. I know what the truth is. As long as I know and let my fans know that more than half the stuff they read is not true, it's not going to control my life anymore.'

Jonas Brothers WORLD TOUR 2009 dates have been announced. Jordin Sparks and Honor Society will join the boys on tour as their opening acts!

The tour, which will take the band to three continents, will feature new music taken from the June 15 worldwide release of new Hollywood Records album.

High School Musical 4 CONFIRMED



High School Musical 4 will be a Disney Channel Original Movie featuring a new cast. Production will begin this year and premiere on Disney Channel in 2010.

Peter Barsocchini, who wrote the first three, returns as screenwriter. Bill Borden and Barry Rosenbush are also back as executive producers. Disney did not say whether Kenny Ortega would return as director.

The new cast list has not been released as of yet. The plot follows a love story and the cross-town rivalry between East High Wildcats & West High Knights.

Did you ever think you would portraying classic Disney characters from a classic fairy tale? Vanessa No, never, and it's such a beautiful thing you know. I think every girl wishes to be a princess, and I finally got to do it. Zac: I used to watch these movies all the time growing up, loving these films.

Had you seen any photos from the series, first with David Beckham & Beyoncé? Vanessa: I saw it and thought it was so beautiful.. gorgeous and so well portrayed. How does it feel to be among Scarlett Johansson, Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez? It's very exciting. I'm so glad to be part of the team. Like I said, I always wanted to be a princess.'

Zac: And Prince Phillip's not a bad character to play. I kind of like him. He's a pretty big hero, and it's just before they had this great moment and they are kissing. There was a big adventure that this prince goes on... so it's kind of rough by the time he gets to this scene

David Beckham was the original character to portray Prince Phillip, you are like the young David Beckham now. Zac: 'Well, in theory he was actually fighting the dragon [in an earlier scene], I think. So I'm the older David Beckham.'

Which Disney movie were you favorite growing up? Vanessa: Mine was probably Aladdin

Private High Musical MTV HSM Parody



MTV is developing a weekly series, Private High Musical, which will parody Disney's High School Musical

. Private High Musical, is based on an online series and may debut on MTV in Fall as a half hour show, according to HR.

MTV's head of programming Tony DiSanto revealed that they developing a number of scripted half-hour projects.: 'We're going to apply the same tenets of creativity and genre-busting to scripted comedy that 'Laguna Beach' used to makeover the documentary.

..It makes sense as a progression for us when a lot of our shows like 'Run's House' and 'The Hills' look scripted to start going forward with actual scripted shows.'

PHM Tayrn Souther added: 'I've always been an avid musical fan, and when Disney's 'High School Musical' became this big phenomenon, I thought it was funny that nobody ever did a musical that told how high school really was.'
