What Is True Freedom ?

" I want to do what I like ! "
So what is true freedom ?

Do anyone know how to answer this question ?

The Dilemma

Having Rules is not necessary a bad thing! Yet, freedom is also a virtue. While Rules PROTECT us, Freedom gives us room to EXPRESS ourselves.

>>However, when we set rules selfishly, we gain at the expense of the others. Such rules harm people more than protect them.

>>Similarly, when we want freedom selfishly we get our way without consideration for others & what's right or wrong.

Freedom -->Self-Interest --> Opposition
Fence --> Interest -> Oppression

THE REAL PROBLEM

The problem then, lies neither in Rules nor in Freedom.

>> What is the real problem??

OUR SELFISHNESS!

>> And this selfishness sets us up to face the INTENSE ANGER OF GOD!
>> And it also sets up a MORAL trap.

THE SOLUTION

A MORAL TRAP means we need help from
>a PERFECT Person
>a POWERFUL Person

There is hope! Jesus, the only PERFECT & POWERFUL Person, can set man FREE from this moral trap. *Firstly, the anger of God was on him when he died on the cross for you.
**Secondly, we can be set free from selfishness.

It is the FREEDOM we need - TRUE FREEDOM to do what is RIGHT !!
ONLY JESUS CAN FREE US !!

SO WHAT IS YOUR RESPONSE TO JESUS??
